Christian Education @ WPC

Regular Time  ~  9:45 - 10:30 am each Sunday (September – May); No regular Sunday School during summer months (June - August)

WPC uses the popular ROTATION SUNDAY SCHOOL for children and youth in our Sunday School. Children in grades K – 12 enjoy learning the stories of Scripture together, with lots of assistance from adults. We've explored creation, Noah's ark, the Christmas story, and Jesus' disciples.

Three adult classes add a lot to our Sunday morning educational ministry. One adult class is studying the book of Acts of the Apostles; the other class is studying Paul’s exploration of Christian community as found in the early church.

 Coffee & Doughnuts Class for the Youngish Crowd! This class meets in the large lounge in the upstairs education wing. Currently they are studying Dorothy Butler Bass's book Practicing Our Faith. In addition to studying God’s Word, these highly energetic young adults take on special mission and fellowship projects. During November 2008 they spearheaded a hugely successful food drive for a local food bank.

Other educational opportunities include

• Advent Festival held the first Sunday in Advent
• Seasonal Bible Studies
• Vacation Bible School, held each summer and hosted by area churches (WPC hosts in 2009!)
