We hope you will join in the joy of Advent and our Christmastide journey “From Generation to Generation” as we re-discover our own stories and realize the ways our lives, histories, actions, and stories are interconnected and woven together. The work of God is always unfolding— in and through us. This Advent season, how will we carry it forth?

Advent and Christmas Worship Services 
  • Sunday November 26th—11am-12pm—First Sunday in Advent worship service and a baptism! 
  • Sunday December 3rd—11am-12pm—Second Sunday in Advent worship service. After worship, join us for a hands-on project in the fellowship hall to continue the conversation from worship: “God meets us in our fear.”
  • Sunday December 10th—11am-12pm—Third Sunday in Advent worship service. After worship, join us for a hands-on project in the fellowship hall to continue the conversation from worship: “We can choose a better way.”
  • Sunday December 17th—11am-12pm—Fourth Sunday in Advent worship service and the Cantata Worship! After worship, join us for a hands-on project in the fellowship hall to continue the conversation from worship: “We see God in each other.”
  • Sunday December 31st—11am-12pm—Christmastide Service. After worship, join us for a hands-on project in the fellowship hall to continue the conversation from worship: “God dwells with us.”
Christmas Eve Service

Sunday, December 24 - 4pm Join us for our Candlight Service, to honor the birth of Christ.

There will NOT be a regular 11 am morning worship. 
 

 

 

Book Study

Wednesday, November 29th: “Introduction and Chapter 1: What If I Missed It?” 
Wednesday, December 6th: “Chapter 2: Playing the Villain.”
Wednesday, December 13:  “Chapter 3: A Curious People.”  
Wednesday, December 20:  “Chapter 4: When God Shows Up.” 

Community Advent Service

  • Wednesday, December 6: 12-1pm—  Service led by Woodstock Presbyterian. 
  • Wednesday  December 13: 12-1pm—Ecumenical Advent Service and Lunch will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Different pastors and churches will lead worship in their tradition and serve lunch. This is a great community time!
  • Wednesday  December 20: 12-1pm - Ecumenical Advent Service and Lunch will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Different pastors and churches will lead worship in their tradition and serve lunch. This is a great community time!
